Gal Salomon - CEO, Founder
Mr. Salomon has held numerous senior positions in the development and management of communication controllers and microprocessors, having gained extensive experience in the commercialization of technology for the wireless communication industry.
Prior to founding Discretix, Mr. Salomon was Product Manager at Intel Corporation's Cellular Communication Division (CCD), where he held full responsibility for the CDMA, PDC, TDMA and W-CDMA R&D Groups. Mr. Salomon began his career in the semiconductor industry at Intel, where he served as the Validation Manager of the first Pentium MMX chip developed at Intel Israel. He also held the position of Product Manager at DSPC.
Mr. Salomon holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the Recanati Graduate School of Business.
Edo Ganot - EVP Sales & Business Development
Mr. Ganot joined Discretix in 2003, and manages the company's worldwide Sales, Business Development, Alliances, and Corporate Marketing activities.
Prior to joining Discretix, Mr. Ganot was EVP, Strategic Alliances & Marketing for Trivnet, a provider of e /m-Payment platforms for the wireless market and Worldwide Marketing Manager, Business Management Solutions for Scitex Corp. Before that, he held Sales Management positions at ART Inc., a provider of voice and handwriting recognition solutions for the embedded wireless market.
Mr. Ganot received his MBA in Marketing and Finance from Tel Aviv University and his BA in Economics and Business Administration from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
David Deitcher - Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Deitcher served as VP R&D at Discretix from its founding until August 2004, when he assumed the position of CTO. Mr. Deitcher brings to Discretix extensive experience in technology development and management. His expertise includes security, cellular communications and VLSI.
Before joining Discretix, Mr. Deitcher was a senior architect at Intel Corp and also held the positions of System Manager and VLSI Design Manager in DSPC’s CDMA project.
Prior to that, Mr. Deitcher was VP R&D of Eurom Ltd. (an M-Systems subsidiary), where he was responsible for the development of the DiskOnChip product. Mr. Deitcher previously held design engineering positions at Atari Computers and National Semiconductor.
Mr. Deitcher holds a B.Eng. from McGill University in Montreal.
Yuval Rozen - VP Finance
Mr. Rozen has accumulated a wealth of experience as a financial manager, having held numerous positions in the semiconductor and wireless communications industries.
Mr. Rozen previously served as Profit & Loss Finance Manager at Intel Corp.'s Cellular Communication Division (CCD), where he was a member of Intel Israel's Finance and Administration (F&A) team. His duties also included managing the financial analyst team located in Israel and in the U.S. Prior to joining Intel, Mr. Rozen served as Financial Controller of DSPC.
Mr. Rozen is a certified public accountant (CPA [Isr.]) and holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics and Accountancy from Bar Ilan University.
Raanan Tzemach - EVP, Content Protection BU manager
Mr. Tzemach joined Discretix in 2007. He manages the CP Business Unit’s global activities, including product marketing, business development and project management.
Mr. Tzemach was previously VP of Advanced Services and Internet at Cellcom, Israel’s largest mobile operator, where he established and significantly increased Cellcom’s value-added services offering. Prior to that, he held the positions of Director of Business Development and Director of Broadband Access Networks at Cellcom’s CELEC division, as well as several R&D and operation positions in the Communication Branch of the Israeli Defense Forces.
Mr. Tzemach holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Ruthie Sharir – VP of Research and Development
Ruthie brings to Discretix more than 25 years of experience in areas such as networking, enterprise storage, real-time systems, software application development and communications controllers. As Discretix’ VP of research and development, she will oversee the company’s product development including system definition, hardware design and verification, software development and quality assurance.
Prior to joining Discretix, Ruthie served as VP of Engineering of Enure Networks, during which time she was responsible for the definition, design, development and release of home networking applications. Prior to that served as VP of Engineering of Oblicore.
Ruthie also as served as Director of the System group at Marvell Semiconductor, managing a multidisciplinary team responsible for software, hardware and system development as well as application support, chip validation technology, quality assurance and board manufacturing. Ruthie spent 15 years at Elbit Systems, most recently as Director C4I Software and System for UAVs.
At Elbit she was responsible for overall system design as well the management of the UAV C4I software and system development group for both distributed and real-time systems.
Ruthie holds a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and was awarded the Israel Defense Award in 1988. |
