The vision and goals of the Technoda Center for Education in Science and Technology are based on the realization that the development of the intellectual potential of the next generation, who will be responsible for the continued prosperity of the State of Israel. Since its establishment in 1986, Technoda has developed a reputation as a leading institution in its field, providing top quality extracurricular education in science and technology primarily to residents of the Northern Central Region of Israel. Today, Technoda boasts approximately 67,000 visits annually of children and youth from all over the country. Striving to encourage excellence in all Israeli students, Technoda provides supplementary classes for kindergartens, elementary and junior high schools and high level afterschool enrichment programs for stronger students.

A non-profit organization, TMURA was established by leading Israeli venture capital funds to involve the hi-tech sector in supporting charitable activities. Promoting a new model of philanthropy, TMURA is creating a culture of giving within the hi-tech sector by enabling companies to donate equity to support education and youth-related initiatives in Israel. “Tmura” is the Hebrew word for “change” or “metamorphosis” and also means “value for money”; it is also a play on the word “truma", which means “donation”.
