CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media) enables the distribution of music, video, and other premium content on SD cards and mobile handsets.

As part of its Multi-Scheme DRM offering, Discretix offers a cost-effective and powerful CPRM client for mobile handsets, fully compliant with the robustness requirement of the 4C-Entity. Using the handset's processor, the Discretix CPRM solution eliminates the need for dedicated CPRM hardware. The architecture improves performance and power consumption and also enhances overall system security by ensuring that protected content and secret keys are never exposed.

The Discretix CPRM Client can be used in parallel to other DRM schemes, providing the flexibility to address multiple standards on a single device.
